Description:

Inverted "V" blade front and fixed notch rear sights, "1911" on the chamber, DWM monogram on the toggle, matching serial numbers on front of frame and underside of barrel, matching partial "65" numbers on the small parts, Imperial era proofs and acceptance marks on right side of barrel extension, "GESICHERT" and "GELADEN" marked safety and extractor, and straw colored small parts. The front grip strap is marked "B.1.T.S.3.3". The grips are checkered with "EWB" carved into the right panel. WWII production blue magazine with aluminum base.

Rating Definition:

Very fine with 95% of the bright original blue finish remaining, some areas of mild edge wear, light handling marks, and some slightly light markings. 85% bright original straw colors remain. The period non-factory branded grips are also very fine with sharp checkering and a few small dings. Mechanically excellent.
