Manufactured by the Tokyo Arsenal from 1909 to 1928, the Baby Nambu was the semi-official officer's pistol of the Imperial Japanese Military. Fixed sights, with the "stacked cannonball" arsenal marking on top of the chamber and the nomenclature markings and serial number on the right side of the frame. The firing pin is unnumbered, but the other components are matching, including the magazine and grip panels. Included with the pistol is a brown leather holster, originally for a Type 94 pistol.

Fine, with 70% of the original blue finish, showing patches of pitting on the frame and grip straps, areas of brown patina, bright edge wear and scattered handling marks. The grips are very good, with some minor dings and scuffs. The modified Type 94 holster is fair, with the snap missing from the retention strap. Mechanically excellent.
