Manufactured in 1953. Ramped, hooded beaded blade front and Lyman No. 6W dual folding leaf rear sight with base on the medium-heavy weight "Contoured I" barrel with standard markings, Winchester "WP" proofs on the barrel and receiver at the breech, factory drilled and tapped receiver top with filler screws in place, matching numbered polished bolt, checkered pistol grip stock, and solid rubber Winchester recoil pad.

Very fine with 90% original blue finish on the barreled action, some light edge wear, cycling marks on the bolt, mild gray patina on the bolt handle knob, and pin point spotting on the refinished floorplate. The refinished stock is fine with crisp checkering, and small dings and scratches. Mechanically excellent.
