Only 52 of these revolvers were manufactured, one for each state, the District of Columbia, and the United States of America with this example representing the U.S.A. Master Engraver Robert Burt has signed his work on the underside of the barrel. Near full coverage floral scroll engraving on the barrel lug and frame with about 50% coverage on the balance. There are two gold inlaid bands at the breech, ahead of the barrel lug, and at the muzzle. Gold inlaid United States including Alaska and Hawaii as well as "U.S.A.-1776"on the left of the lug, a Gold Rampant Colt on the right, U.S.A. on the bottom of the frame, and stars on the cylinder between the nipples. This revolver is pictured and described on pages 324-325 of R. L. Wilson's book "Colt: An American Legend". Includes a hardwood display case lined in green velvet as well as an empty cap tin, two cavity bullet mold, powder flask, and nipple wrench/screwdriver, all engraved "U.S.A.".

Excellent, retaining 99% plus original finishes with limited handling evidence. The grips are very fine with a few small scratches. The case is fine with some minor handling/storage marks. The accessories are all excellent. Mechanically excellent.
