The included factory letter confirms the caliber, barrel length, and finish when the revolver was shipped to the Dept. of Highway Safety & Motor Vehicles of Tallahassee, FL, on December 22, 1984. This revolver was one of 50 sent to the Florida Highway Patrol and is marked "FHP 2166" on the butt. The remaining guns where marked "FHP 1" - "FHP 10" and "FHP 2128" - "FHP 2168". Includes an unlabelled Colt case.
