Manufactured in 1907. Beaded blade front and elevation adjustable sporting notch rear sights, Winchester "WP" proofs on the barrel and receiver at the breech (offset to be visible with scope installed), second model receiver with hidden locking lugs, two-line trademark on the upper tang, and matching serial numbers on the lower tang and receiver. The barrel is fitted with scope blocks and a Winchester A5 telescopic sight with adjustable rear ring. The A5 scope was introduced to the catalog in 1910. Given the offset Winchester proofs on the top of the chamber and breech, the scope was most definitely installed at the factory. Twelve groove slide handle and checkered pistol grip stock with hard rubber grip cap, and blue steel crescent buttplate.

Fine with 60% original blue finish, areas of edge wear, scratches and dings, and light surface spotting along the length of the barrel. The receiver has areas of edge wear, mixed brown patina and some bright scratches. The slide bar has cold blue touch up. The wood is also fine with well defined checkering, small scratches and dings, and mottled blue/brown patina on the buttplate. Mechanically excellent. Scope is fine with cloudy optics 80% of the original blue finish and some bright lines from moving in the rings.
