Manufactured in 1905. The rifle is fitted with a combination Beach front sight, a tang peep sight and special order half magazine. The barrel is stamped with the two-line/patent date marking ahead of the filler block in the rear sight dovetail and "32-40" at the breech. A Winchester factory oval proof is stamped on top of the barrel and receiver at the breech. The forearm and pistol grip stock are checkered straight grain walnut . The buttstock is fitted with a hard rubber Winchester grip cap and a solid crescent buttplate.

Fine, retaining 60% plus original blue finish with thinning to brown on the balance. There is an area of dark pitting visible on the barrel at the breech. 60% original niter blue remains on the loading gate. 70% original case colors remain on the hammer and lever. The wood is also very fine with minor dings and scratches and crisp checkering overall. Mechanically excellent.
