Manufactured in 1887 as a third model with integral dust cover rail and dust cover with rear serrations and standard markings. Dovetail blade front and elevation adjustable rear sights. The straight grip stock is fitted with a trapdoor crescent buttplate (cleaning rod not included).

Fine, retaining 40% plus original blue finish with the balance a smooth brown patina mixed with some patches of pitting. Patterns of original case colors remain on the hammer and lever. The wood is very good with a couple hairline stress cracks and some minor dings and scratches. Mechanically fine.
