Manufactured in 1925. Beaded blade front and elevation adjustable notch rear sights, eighth style barrel inscription, Winchester "WP" proofs on the top of the barrel and receiver at the breech, matching serial numbers on the underside of the receiver and trigger guard assembly, standard markings on the upper tang, and Lyman adjustable peep sight. Nicely figured 12 groove walnut slide handle and checkered pistol grip stock with Winchester hard rubber grip cap and checkered steel buttplate. The right side of the upper tang, stock inlet, end of the buttstock, and inside surface of the buttplate are stamped with the matching number "83". Includes a Winchester marked hardwood takedown case with six boxes of shrink wrapped vintage .22 LR ammunition, cleaning rod, empty bottle of Winchester gun oil, and Winchester brand gun grease and rust remover in shrink wrapped boxes.

Very fine with 85% plus bright refinished blue remaining, areas of high point and edge wear, visible flaking to a brown patina on the magazine tube, slide retraction marks, some light spotting and mild pitting at the rear of the bolt, and some bright wear on the hammer sides. Light pitting is visible under the blue on the right side of the receiver. The wood is also very fine with crisp, well-defined checkering, some scattered small dings, and mostly gray patina on the buttplate. Mechanically excellent. Refinished case is very good with replaced lining, and some exterior dings. Accessories are very fine overall with some mild discoloration on the cardboard, and some scratches and light patina on the oil bottle.
