Manufactured in 1911 with the standard markings including Winchester factory oval proofs on the barrel and receiver at the breech, with the receiver proof correctly offset to accommodate the matted section on top of the receiver ring. The upper stock inlet is marked with the assembly number "3179". Fitted with a ramped and dovetailed Lyman beaded blade front sight (bead painted red) and an elevation adjustable notch rear sight. Mounted with a finely figured checkered forearm and straight grip stock with a checkered hard rubber buttplate.

Very fine, retains 75% plus original blue finish and 50% original case colors on the hammer with some areas thinning to a smooth grey or brown patina, primarily on the bottom of the lever and on the magazine. The wood is very fine with the left side professionally refinished, the balance retaining much of the original varnish with scattered minor dings and scratches. Mechanically excellent.
