Manufactured in 1905. Beaded blade front and elevation adjustable sporting notch rear sights, third style barrel inscription, "22 SHORT" on the top barrel flat at the breech, casehardened checkered hammer, and smooth blue trigger. Short, twelve groove slide handle and fancy figured, checkered pistol grip stock with hard rubber Winchester grip cap, and casehardened crescent buttplate. The end of the buttstock and lower tang are marked with matching "9550" assembly numbers with a single "X" on the lower tang. The serial number on lower tang is double struck, most likely a factory error.

Very fine with 85% plus original blue finish, one spot of touched up light pitting visible on the barrel, light edge wear, scattered spotting, and small scratches. The wood is also very fine with numerous small dings and scratches, well-defined checkering, attractive figure, and some gaps at the buttplate. Mechanically excellent.
