Manufactured in 1926 and subsequently upgraded and engraved with a Winchester factory style pattern. The sides of the receiver feature zig-zag line and dot borders, floral scroll engraving on a punch dot background and circular panel scenes depicting an elk hunt on the left and a stag on the right. Flourishes of scrollwork appear on the takedown collar, exposed barrel flats at the breech, upper tang and top of receiver. Dovetail blade front sight, elevation adjustable rear sight, Winchester factory oval proofs, 3/4 magazine tube and Model 92 legend stamped on the upper left barrel flat. Forearm and straight grip stock are highly figured checkered walnut.

Very fine as custom embellished and upgraded to current configuration, retaining 98% high polish blue finish with faint brown patina on the balance. The buttstock is ill fitting at the receiver, otherwise the wood is also very fine with very minimal handling marks, highly attractive grain, and crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent.
