Fine, retains 30% original blue finish on the barrel and strong traces of original case colors in sheltered areas with the balance mostly a smooth grey patina. The cylinder is refinished over mild pitting. The slightly shrunken period replaced grip shows an attractive age-darkened tone overall with a few minor chips in the butt and crisp carving.
