This shotgun was manufactured in 1882 and has brown Damascus pattern barrels with attractive twist patterns, a concave matte solid rib and fitted with a single bead front sight. 2 3/4 inch chambers with extractor and modified/improved cylinder chokes. The casehardened action features "Colt's Pt. F.A. Mfg. Co." on each side, break lever, and trigger guard. It is mounted with a checkered forearm with ebony insert and a round knob pistol grip stock with splinter forend and smooth steel buttplate. Bore and stock measurements (R/L): bores 9 inches from breech .742/.739 inches; chokes .015/.010; minimum wall thickness .040/.045 inches; drop at comb 2 inches; drop at heel 3 1/4 inches; length of pull 14 1/8 inches; weight 8lbs 2oz.

Fine, showing 40% original case colors mainly concentrated on the locks, and 80% Damascus pattern remaining on the barrels. Some minor scattered spotting in areas and a small ding at the breech. The stock is fine with a repair to the right side of the forend, mild handling evidence, and crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent.
