Description:

Manufactured in 1868-1875 with the standard markings and features as well as geometric and scroll engraving, a Nimschke-style dogs head on the side plate. "III" assembly markings on the barrel, cylinder, and hand marked on the back of the special grips.

Rating Definition:

Very fine with 98% plus original nickel plating, strong original case colors, crisp engraving, minor wear, and attractive natural tones and grain along with some minor age cracks on the grips. Mechanically fine. Provenance: Dr. Gerald Klaz collection.
