Description:

Manufactured from 18 to 18. Bottom of left grip marked "5357" and marked "COGSWELL & HARRISON, STRAND, LONDON." on the back strap. Includes a correct Cogswell & Harrison London retailer case (Cogswell & Harrison is still open for business and claims the distinction of "London's Oldest Gunmakers"), oiler, screwdriver, and cleaning rod.

Rating Definition:

Fine, showing 20% original blue on the barrel in protected areas, 50% plus blue on the cylinder, and the majority of the thinning silver on the frame. The grips are very fine with a few nicks and scratches. The case and accessories are also very fine with a few storage marks. Mechanically excellent. Provenance: Dr. Gerald Klaz collection.
