Description:

Manufactured in 1902/03. Profuse period New York floral scroll engraving on a punch dot background along with dots on the top strap and entwining line/dot motif on the trigger guard. The cylinder also features a wavy line and dot band at the rear. The pearl grips have S&W medallions. Matching serial numbers on the butt, cylinder, and barrel.

Rating Definition:

Very fine as period New York engraved retaining 90% original nickel finish with flaking on the balance. 40% original case colors remain on the hammer and trigger. The grips are also very fine with some minor handling marks and attractive color. Mechanically excellent. Provenance: Dr. Gerald Klaz collection.
