This shotgun features a single bead front sight on a concave rib marked "STEPHEN GRANT 67A ST JAMES'S STREET. LONDON", and features double triggers, English scroll engraving, "STEPHEN GRANT" on each of the back action lock plates, serial number on the lower tang as well as the barrels and water table, "H.W" by the barrel numbers, London proof and view marks, blank initial shield, and checkered stock and forearm. 2 1/2 inch chambers with extractor and muzzles gauge at cylinder chokes. Stock measurements: drop at comb 1 1/2 inches; drop at heel 1 7/8 inches; length of pull 13 15/16 inches.

Very fine, with 60% of the thinning rebrowned finish on the Damascus barrels and traces of the original casehardened finish in the protected areas of the locks and action, the remainder a pleasant silver patina. Generally light overall handling evidence. The revarnished wood is very good with some light scratches and crisp checkering, and the buttplate has been repaired at the toe. Some noticeable polished spotting in the bores and corresponding slight exterior bulge. Mechanically excellent.
