Marked on top of barrel, "Hoffman Arms Co. Ardmore, OKLA.247" with a Mauser Orbendorf action. The barrel is lightly engraved with geometric and border patterns at the muzzle and breach and fitted with a ramped and hooded beaded blade front sight, lightly engraved sling swivel stud, and no provision for a rear sight. The top of the barrel is marked with the Hoffman address. The top of the barrel and receiver ring at the breech are matted with stippling with caliber marking offset to the left on the barrel. The left side of the receiver is marked with the Mauser Oberndorf address and the right side is fitted with a Lyman peep sight. The trigger guard and floorplate feature extensive English style floral scroll engraving. Mounted with a finely figured, straight grain, checkered stock with contrasting forend tip, pistol grip with lightly engraved steel cap, sling swivel stud, shadowline cheek piece, and checkered trapdoor shotgun buttplate. Includes a letter of authenticity signed by Tom Selleck confirming it is from his personal collection.

Very fine, retains 85% of the blue finish, thinned in a few areas to expose a smooth grey patina, a few scattered light handling marks, and crisp engraving. The wood is also very fine with some scattered light dings and scratches, and crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent. Provenance: The Tom Selleck Collection
