Built on a Model 1903 action with a barrel marked "No 1102 GRIFFIN & HOWE INC. NEW YORK" on top and "30/06 GOV." on the left side at the breech. Lyman 77 globe front sight and peep rear sight. Mounted in a pistol grip stock with metal grip cap, cheekpiece, and hard rubber buttplate. Includes a mounted J. Unertl 14x scope.

Exceptionally fine as professionally built, retaining 99% of the Griffin & Howe applied blue, with minor handling evidence, a few minor scratches in the wood, and sharp stock checkering. The scope optics are sharp. Mechanically excellent.
