Description:

Manufactured by the Tokyo Arsenal from 1909 to 1928, the Baby Nambu was the semi-official officer's pistol of the Imperial Japanese Military. Fixed sights, with the "stacked cannonball" arsenal marking on top of the chamber and the nomenclature markings and serial number on the right side of the frame. The firing pin is unnumbered, but the other components are matching, including the magazine and grip panels. A set of Japanese symbols have been engraved through the finish on the top and the right side of the frame; the latter is rendered in the style of Admiral Yamamoto's signature. Both of which are highly questionable.

Rating Definition:

Very fine, with 75% of the original blue finish, showing patches of pitting on the frame and barrel, with a heavy concentration on the recoil spring housing. The grips are good, with some mild dings and dents. Mechanically very good.
