Introduced in 1943, the SS Field Cap was patterned closely after the caps used by the gebirgsjaegers, and was a well-regarded and functional cap. Feldgrau wool construction, with a set of working earflaps secured by two pebbled buttons, the totenkopf patch on the front, and the SS Eagle patch on the left ear flap. The interior is fitted with a brown leather sweatband and a gray twill lining, the latter ink stamped "58".

Very good, with some creasing of the visor, a few small tears in the sweatband and mild staining.
