Built on a Brazilian Imbel Mauser action with a 28 gauge smoothbore barrel, no sights, single front barrel band, matching visible serial numbers, and fitted with a vertical forward grip, and under barrel line canister. This line thrower was designed mostly for marine applications such as ship to ship line throwing and water rescue missions. Includes hardwood case marked "CIA DE EXPLOSIVOS VALPARAIBA/INDUSTRIA/BRASILEIRA/CGC60398153/I/VOLUME 87 DM 3 LORENA/PESO BRUTO 25 KG SAO PAULO". Case includes yellow painted wooden projectile head, two projectile bodies, extra line canister, and small tools.

Very fine as factory converted to line throwing configuration with visible pitting under the finish on the buttplate, clear markings, scattered scuffs and scratches, and mild spotting on the bright bolt handle. The refurbished stock is also very fine with small dings and scratches throughout. Mechanically excellent. Case is good with some chips absent on the exterior and storage marks overall.
