Description:

The Model 1860 Army was the primary handgun of the Union Army during the Civil War and remained in use by the U.S. military in the West after the war. This revolver was manufactured in 1862 and has the standard markings and features, including government inspection markings and matching serial numbers.

Rating Definition:

Very good with patterns of dark silvered out original case colors remaining on the frame, mostly gray and brown patina on the balance of the steel, attractive aged patina on the brass grip frame, faint lightly visible cartouches on both sides of the slightly bent forward grip, mild edge wear including chips at the heel and toe, and moderate overall wear including some light pitting. Mechanically fine.
