The loading gate is marked with the assembly number "584". The frame and hammer are casehardened, and the remaining parts are blue. Fitted with a smooth one-piece walnut grip with "1884" over a restamped cartouche on the left side and a restamped boxed cartouche is on the right side. Rating Definition:

Very good as restored, showing mostly a smooth grey patina with faint traces of applied military brush blue and case colors in sheltered areas and some scattered patches of light surface pitting. The remarked, reoiled grips are good showing moderate wear, some scattered minor dings and scratches, and faint but visible cartouches. Mechanically excellent. The holster rig is fine overall.
