A rare commercial variation of a Ludwig Loewe manufactured No. 3 Russian revolver with the correct and desirable commercial barrel rib marking in Cyrillic followed by the serial number, "No 28909." Matching serial numbers are on the butt, right grip panel ("909" in pencil), barrel, and cylinder. The butt also has the number "1708", and the cylinder also has the number "164."

Very fine, retaining 95% plus of the reapplied blue finish with thinning on the balance. The grips are fine with some minor dings and scratches. Mechanically excellent. Provenance: Dr. Gerald Klaz collection.
