Standard two-line address/King's patent marking on the barrel, model designation on the upper tang, serial number on the lower tang, and no caliber markings on the barrel or cartridge elevator, as was standard. The left side of the lower tang has a scored out assembly number as well as "352", which is also stamped in the stock inlet and on the inside of the buttplate. Fitted with dovetailed German silver blade front and elevation adjustable semi-buckhorn rear sights, and a special order half magazine. Mounted with a smooth forearm and straight grip stock with a crescent trapdoor buttplate (cleaning rod not included) with "1/18" stamped on the right of the wrist. Contained within the butt trap is a Wells Fargo check for $350 dollars dated 1979 with "Win. 1873 #60369" ("9" looks a bit like a "3") hand marked at the bottom.

Rating Definition:

Fine, retains 50% plus original high polish blue finish, faint traces of original case colors, and 30% original nitre blue on the loading gate, with the balance mostly a smooth brown patina and a few scattered patches of light pitting. The wood is very good with some minor dings and scratches scattered throughout and some mild oil staining near the buttplate. Mechanically excellent.
