Manufactured in 1908 in takedown configuration and equipped with double set triggers. It has dovetail blade and elevation adjustable rear sights, the Winchester factory oval proof on top of the barrel and receiver at the breech, and a smooth straight grip stock fitted with a crescent buttplate. The barrel is marked with the two-line address/patent information on the top flat and the two-line nickel steel marking followed by "25-35 W.C.F." on the left flat. The upper tang has the three-line model/trademark, and the 1893 patent date is on the takedown latch.

Fine. The rifle retains 50% original blue finish overall with the balance a mottled brown-gray patina. The reoiled wood is very good with some minor pressure dents and scratches. Mechanically excellent.
