Manufactured in 1874. Features a round blade front sight, "COLT NEW 30" etched on the left, scroll and line engraving, stars on the sides of the frame at the breech, "six pointed" stars on the side plate, "599" on the back of the cylinder, "304" on the bottom of the barrel, "1304" on the butt, and pearl grips. Includes a brown leather holster. The cylinder appears to have had gold over nickel plating.

Very fine with 90% plus nickel plating, traces of gold on the rear of the cylinder, crisp engraving and etched panel, and minor overall wear. The grips are fine and have minor handling wear and a few slight flakes. Mechanically fine. The holster is good with mild wear. Provenance: The John Fox Collection.
