This model was only manufactured in 1878-1888. In addition to the standard markings, this revolver has extensive scroll and wavy line engraving. The serial number is concealed on the top and lower straps but appear to read as listed above.

Very good with 85% plus original nickel plating, crisp engraving, spots of oxidation/pitting, and generally mild wear. The grips are also very good and have attractive natural tones and grain, a small chip on the left at the heel, and mild wear. The cylinder pin is stuck, but the revolver is otherwise mechanically fine. Provenance: The John Fox Collection.
