Description:

Manufactured in 1868-1881 with standard markings and features and attractive classic scroll engraving with punch dot backgrounds on the barrel, cylinder, sides of the frame, and back strap behind the hammer. Fitted with a very nice pair of grips with a raised relief patriotic eagle, shield, and flags design on the left panel.

Rating Definition:

Very good with crisp engraving, 85% plus nickel plating, flaking mainly on the cylinder which has dark brown patina on the balance, and general minor handling and storage type wear. The grips are excellent and have very attractive natural tones and grain, distinct raised relief carving, and only minor age and handling related wear. Mechanically fine.
