Description:

Also known as "Starting on the Round-Up," this print is marked on the bottom left with "Going to the Roundup," and the bottom right is signed "LA HUFFMAN" over the printed signature and "Miles City - Mont." Laton Alton Huffman (1854-1931) took this photograph around 1886 based on other prints. It measures approximately 7 1/2 by 13 1/2 inches and comes in a newer 13 1/2 by 19 1/2 inch frame.

Rating Definition:

A small piece on the upper right corner is absent; otherwise, the print is excellent. The frame is very good and has some mild wear on the edges. Provenance: The John Fox Collection.
