The locks on both of these pistols are marked "Archer" on the left and "London" on the right, both surrounded by flourishes of floral scroll engraving, zig-zag borders, and two Tower proofs on the bottom of the breech. The turn-off, multi-stage cannon barrels both have thin lugs on the bottom, possibly for a snap bayonet (absent), and the "A" pistol is marked with a "1" on the left, corresponding to a "1" on the lock. The grips on both have matching fine vine/floral silver inlay.

Very good plus, showing mostly a smooth grey patina, darker in some areas, with a few scattered patches of very light pitting and crisp engraving. The grip is fine with a few scattered light handling marks and retaining most of the silver wire inlay. Mechanically excellent.
