Blue steel dovetail lump barrels with nitre blue beaded blade front and two folding leaf notch rear sights, left barrel inscribed "HOLLAND & HOLLAND 98 NEW BOND STREET LONDON", London proofs on the tubes, and single large extractor. Casehardened action with doll's head rib extension, carved percussion fences, light scroll border engraving, hand stamped "MGM" marking on right side of action, "CHARGE 8 DRAMS CASE 3 1/4 INCHES" marking on the left, "HOLLAND & HOLLAND" marked locks, and knurled lever and hammer spurs. Checkered pistol grip stock and forearm with lightly engraved casehardened grip cap, raised cheekpiece, and solid rubber recoil pad.

Very fine as refurbished. The barrels have 99% blue finish with crisp markings, some small scattered dings, and softened matting on the rib. The action and locks have 97% plus vibrant case colors, upper tang and lock tails standing a bit proud to the wood, some very light silvering on the edges, and slightly softened engraving. The wood is also very fine with intense dark figure, small scattered dings, and slightly oversized grip cap. Mechanically excellent.
