Description:

This unusual gun has two .54 caliber rifled barrels on the left and two 20 gauge smoothbore barrels on the right. A rotating lever on the left side at the breech allows the shooter to switch between the barrels. The barrels have Birmingham proofs. The upper rib and locks have spurious Charles Lancaster markings. The engraving is mostly scroll patterns. The stock has a smooth forend and a checkered wrist.

Rating Definition:

Fine as assembled, embellished, and refinished with 95% plus of the high quality brown and blue finishes and case colors remaining, fading mostly only on the trigger guard, and distinct twist patterns along the barrels. The stock is fair with a large section of filler at the heel, some chips and slivers absent at the edges, crisp engraving, and smooth oiled finish. Mechanically fine.
