Raised beaded blade front and flip up rear notch sights on the matted rib with double claw scope bases, "55" dated Ferlach proofs, "JOSEF WINKLER FERLACH" maker's mark on the underside of the barrels, and a Hensoldt Diatal 6x42 scope. Importer mark on the underside of the barrels. Coin gray bolstered action with cross bolt third fastener, matching "55" dated proofs, bushed firing pins, dual triggers (front is set trigger), and automatic sliding tang safety. The action is fully engraved with scroll and line patterns, feather patterns on the bolsters, and detailed game scenes depicting a running hare on the right, capercaillie on the underside, and a roe deer on the left. The blued trigger guard is engraved with line and scroll patterns to match. Checkered forearm and pistol grip stock with engraved fittings, scalloped horn grip cap, raised cheekpiece, and basket weave checkered horn buttplate. Stock measurements are: drop at comb 1 1/2 inches; drop at heel 2 3/4 inches; length of pull 14 1/4 inches.

Fine with 85% original blue finish remaining on the barrels, some areas visibly thinning to a light brown patina, scattered dings and scratches, some light spotting, and mild muzzle wear. The action engraving is crisp and detailed with some light edge wear on the trigger guard, and some brown patina on the triggers. The wood is also fine with small dings and scratches, visible bruises in the checkering, small chip at the left rear of the forearm, and some gaps at the left side action junction. Mechanically excellent. Scope is very good with some exterior dings, and clear optics.
