Coin finished hand detachable side lock bolstered action with double Kersten locks, cocking indicators, smooth double triggers, and each lock engraved with detailed game scenes of a roaring stag and several hinds on the left, and a hound running down wild boar on the right, with detailed scrolls covering the remainder of the action. Blued top lever, safety, hand detachable lever, and trigger guard. Checkered pistol grip stock with hard rubber grip cap, screw in rear swivel with corresponding sling attached to the bottom barrel, checkered hard rubber butt plate. Checkered three piece forend with engraved fittings and Deeley latch. In maker’s canvas and leather case, with test target and factory paperwork. With Hertel & Reuse telescopic sight.

Excellent. Barrels retaining nearly all of the original blued finish. Action retaining nearly all of the original grey hardened finish, fine deep engraving in crisp condition. Stock with minimal signs of handling, checkering factory sharp and fresh. Case and scope are excellent with some light staining on the cover. Provenance: The Malcolm King Collection.
