Established in 1977, Luciano Bosis produces fine bespoke shotguns on a by order basis with an estimated production of about 25 guns annually. Each gun can take several years to complete based on the requested level of embellishment, making each piece a unique and individual creation. The smooth rib features a single nickel bead sight and is marked "LUCIANO BOSIS ITALY". 2 3/4 inch chambers with ejectors and modified/improved modified chokes. The wonderfully engraved side lock action features fine floral scroll with flowers at the center. The right side of the trigger plate is clearly signed "Naida Martinelli" for the firm of Master Engraver Naida Martinelli of Gardone Val Trompia, Brescia, Italy. The underside of the receiver is marked "LUCIANO BOSIS/BRESCIA" in fine gold inlay. The break lever, trigger guard, upper tang, and even the safety switch are also embellished in the same style. The stock and forend are finely checkered and show striking figure, engraved furniture and checkered bare butt. Includes factory data sheet, assorted factory papers, extra set of firing pins, and two nickel snap caps. Bore and stock measurements (R/L): bore 9 inches from breech proved at 17mm (.669 inch) and measure at .674/.675 inch; chokes recorded as improved cylinder at 3 inches/improved cylinder at 5 inches and measure .017/.025 inch; minimum wall thickness .031/.029 inches; drop at comb 1 1/4 inches; drop at heel 2 inches; length of pull 14 1/2 inches; cast-on; weight 6lbs 15oz.

Near new, retaining 99% plus original blue on the barrels and coin finish on the action, limited handling evidence, and sharp checkering on the stock and forend. Mechanically excellent.
