Single steel bead sight on the matte vent rib barrels marked "Abbiatico & Salvinelli" in fancy script on the left side with 2 3/4 inch chambers, automatic ejectors, standard Italian proofs on the block, and improved cylinder/modified chokes. Bright coin finished action with single non-selective trigger, and tang mounted sliding manual safety. The action is engraved with fine leafy scroll bordering highly detailed bulino engraved big cat scenes of African lions on the right, tigers on the left, and a leopard in a tree on the underside. The underside of the action is marked "Guy Coheleach" just behind the forearm shoe, and the trigger plate is signed "Galeazzi" for Italian Master Engraver Fausti Galeazzi. Guy Coheleach is an American wildlife painter and the wonderful engraved scenes are taken from his work. The identified paintings are "Serengeti Bachelors" and "Brace of Bengals". With a finely figured checkered forearm with engraved fittings and straight grip buttstock with gold inlaid "GC" on the underside, and checkered bare butt. The extra barrels are numbered to the gun with "2" and "3", gold inlaid "2" and "3" markings on top of the rib at the breech, 2 3/4 inch chambers and the following chokes: 2: modified/improved modified; 3: full/full. Includes factory leather bound takedown case with nickel oil bottle, snap caps, two London pattern turnscrews, and cleaning rod with heads. Stock measurements are: drop at comb 1 9/16 inches; drop at heel 2 inches; length of pull 14 5/8 inches.

Excellent overall with 99% plus original blue finish, distinct markings, light handling marks, detailed engraving, and sharp checkering on the highly attractive wood. Mechanically excellent. Extra barrels are also excellent with light handling marks. Case is very good with some scuffs and scratches on the exterior.
