Manufactured in 1909 on the desirable "0" small frame, a very rare combination of frame size and gauge. Blued barrels with single steel bead sight on the matte concave rib marked "PARKER BROS. MAKERS. MERIDEN. CONN. VULCAN STEEL" with 2 1/2 inch chambers with extractors, full/full chokes, and standard markings on the flats. Casehardened box lock action, double triggers, and automatic tang safety. Light zigzag border around the receiver on all sides. Checkered pistol grip stock with splinter forend and dog's head buttplate. Blank inscription shield on the underside of the stock. According to page 258 of "The Parker Story" by Guntier, Mullins, Parker, Price, and Cote, this as one of only 772 produced in this configuration with the 26 inch Vulcan steel barrels. Barrel and stock measurements are: bore diameter at 9 inches from breech .554/.553; choke constriction .020/.019; minimum wall thickness .029/.023; drop at comb 1 5/8 inches; drop at heel 2 15/16 inches; length of pull 14 3/16 inches: weight 5lbs 13oz.

Very fine, retaining 95% refinished blue finish on the barrels, 40% plus original case colors on the receiver, and some minor handling evidence. The wood is also very fine with a few minor scratches and overall crisp checkering. The trigger guard shows 40% original blue with much of the loss on the tang section. Mechanically excellent.
