Manufactured in 1944. Blade front and flat top rear sights, with the two-line, two-block markings divided by the Rampant Colt on the left side of the slide and a "G.H.D." inspected frame with "P/VP" and "73" on the trigger guard. Fitted with a wide checkered hammer, short stamped trigger, long grip safety, arched serrated mainspring housing, reinforced Colt grips, unmarked replacement full blue magazine, and a replacement "COLT 45 AUTO" and "[C]"marked barrel with a large "G" ahead of the lug.

Very fine, with 95% plus original parkerized finish, showing some minor edge wear and handling marks. The replaced barrel and magazine both show a strong, 90% plus blue finish, with mild handling wear. A few minor dings are present on the grips. Mechanically excellent.
