Description:

Fixed sights, with the chamber area dated "1940", and the Mauser "banner" logo on the front toggle link. The "Eagle/C" police proof is stamped on the right side of the receiver, with the "eagle/N" commercial proofmark stamped on the left side of the receiver and the breechblock. The sear safety spring is present over the side plate, and no cuts have been made for a magazine well safety. Overall finish is full blue, with a set of checkered grips. Matching numbers are present overall, including on the renumbered to match base of the alloy Haenel magazine, which is also marked "1".

Rating Definition:

Very fine, with 80% of the original blue finish, showing hints of plum patina on the sides of the frame, gray on the grip straps, bright edge wear and scattered dings and handling marks. The grips are fine, with some dents and flat spots. Mechanically excellent.
