Browned damascus steel barrels marked "HAMMOND BROTHERS. PATENTEES & MANUFACTURERS. WINCHESTER." and numbered "1" on the matted raised rib with shell final decorated rib extension, a single front bead, extractor, and London reproof marks dated 2011. The bright steel action has double under bolts, carved percussion style fences, serpentine hammers, and back action side locks marked "HAMMOND" "BROS" in separate banners, and two smooth triggers. The action has borders and wedges of scroll engraving throughout, as well as floral screwheads and an engraved geometric knot on the trigger plate. The top lever is engraved "1" and the lower tang is engraved with the serial number. The nicely figured walnut stock has wraparound checkered panels, hard rubber grip cap, a silver initial oval on the comb engraved "RW", and a hard rubber butt plate, with snap on checkered forend with engraved steel wedge and shoe.

Fine with 30% of the browned finish and strong damascus pattern remaining on the barrels with some areas of spotting and clear barrel markings. The action is bright with crisp engraving and markings and a couple small areas of spotting. The nicely figured walnut stock has various handling marks and scratches, and there is a slight chip on the left side of the forend near the wedge. Mechanically excellent.
