Manufactured c. 1870s-1880s. Standard markings. Extensive classic scroll engraving with punch dot backgrounds, intertwining line designs, and a scene of a sailing ship on the left side plate. Smooth pearl grips.

Very fine with 90% plus original nickel plating, crisp engraving, some minor oxidation/pitting, and general mild wear. The grips are also very fine and have attractive natural iridescent tones, moderate handling wear, and slight edge wear. Mechanically fine. Provenance: The John Fox Collection.
