Casehardened action and side locks with Greener style crossbolt third fastener, side clips, Greener style side safety set in the left lock, lined cocking indicators, dual triggers (front is set trigger), and tang mounted selector switch. The action and plates are fully engraved with flowing foliate scroll on punch dot backgrounds, with a highly detailed stag, hound, and hare scene on the right lock, and a wild boar and duck scene on the left. Checkered walnut forearm and straight grip buttstock with scroll engraved fittings, floral scroll and roe deer engraved cartridge trap, and serrated horn buttplate.

Fine. The barrels have 80% original blue remaining with visible light surface pitting, areas of mild edge wear, and scattered nicks and scratches. The action and lock plates have an overall dove gray patina with sharp detailed engraving, and tool marks on some of the screw heads. The refinished stock and forearm have crisp recut checkering, scattered small dings and bruises, dings and scratches on the buttplate, and ill fitting cartridge trap. Mechanically excellent.
