The casehardened side lock receiver simply bears the maker's mark on both locks. Walnut forend and pistol grip stock with hard rubber buttplate and grip cap. Includes original box with shipping box labelled to Maillard & Schmidell in San Fransico for Stanley Rock. Stock and bore measurements (R/L): bores 9 inches from the breech .667/.670 inches; choke constriction .023/.031 inches; minimum wall thickness .031/.030 inches; drop at comb 1 3/8 inches; drop at heel 2 1/2 inches; length of pull 14 1/16 inches; weight 6 lbs 11 oz.

Very fine, retaining 98% original blue on the barrels, 90% plus original case colors on the receiver with the balance a nice silver coloration, and light overall handling evidence on the metal. The wood is also very fine with a few nicks and scratches, a slight chip at the lower tang, and crisp checkering. The boxes are very good showing some wear. Mechanically excellent.
