St. Paul" in gothic script on the rib. 2 3/4 inch chambers with single extractor and Birmingham provisional proof mark on the underside. The frame and locks have English style border and floral scroll designs and marked "M.F. KENNEDY&BRO" on each lock. The trigger guard is engraved with a hunting dog and game bird scene. Unique flat faced sculpted hammers, double triggers, Westley Richards style snap action break lever and mounted with a checkered walnut forearm and pistol grip stock, engraved silver grip cap, blank gold initial escutcheon on the upper wrist, and diamond pattern checkered bare butt with engraved silver heel and toe plates. Includes an article of information about the maker listing the gun by serial number. Length of pull is 14 inches.

Very good, retaining 30% of the thinned browned finish with distinct Damascus patterns on the barrels and a mixture of silvery-grey and brown patinas on the balance with crisp engraving. The stock is a replacement with contemporary grip cap and heel/toe plates with minimal handling marks and crisp checkering. The forend appears to be the original wood as recheckered. Mechanically excellent.
