Manufactured in 1926 and subsequently elaborately custom embellished. Standard markings, with chambers marked at 2 3/4 inches, "MOD" marked choke, and vent rib with brass middle bead and fiber optic front. The barrel has wedges of light scroll engraving at the breech and on the collar. The receiver features a finely engraved hunting dog on the right and a game bird scene on the left. The dog and bird are rendered in raised relief gold inlay with gold inlaid borders and fine leafy scroll and cross hatched patterns on the balance. The bolt carrier and lifter are jewelled. Nicely figured diamond pattern checkered extension forearm and pistol grip stock. Stock measurements: drop at comb 1 7/16 inches, drop at heel I 1/2 inches, length of pull 14 3/16.

Very fine as custom upgraded to current configuration, retaining 97% plus high polish refinished blue finish with a few minor handling marks, crisp checkering, and crisp engraving. The buttpad is beginning to separate from the stock in the middle of the pad. Mechanically excellent
