Blade front and notch rear sights on slide with the two line address and patent dates on the left side, "COLT AUTOMATIC/ CALIBRE .45" and the Rampant Colt on the right side ahead of the ejector port. Standard markings on the right side of the frame, with "1" and "VP" on the left side of the trigger guard and "20" on the right. Wide checkered hammer, short milled trigger, extended grip safety, checkered slide stop, thumb safety and magazine catch, and checkered arched mainspring housing with lanyard ring. Grips are checkered walnut, and the 2-tone magazine is unmarked.

Excellent plus with 98% original blue finish, a few light scratches, handling marks with sharp checkering. Minor scuffing in chamber area due to slide retraction. Grips are also excellent. Mechanically excellent.
