Manufactured in 1944. Blade front and flat top rear sights, with the two-line, two-block markings divided by the Rampant Colt on the left side of the slide and a "G.H.D." inspected frame with "X/VP" and "55" on the trigger guard. Fitted with a wide checkered hammer, short stamped trigger, long grip safety, arched checkered mainspring housing, reinforced Colt grips, "S" marked full blue magazine, and a "COLT 45 AUTO" marked barrel with "F" on the underside and "P" on the lug.

Excellent, with 97% plus original parkerized finish, showing some light edge wear and handling marks overall. The grips are excellent, with some light dings and a few nicks in the plastic on the reinforcing rings. Mechanically excellent.
